This is what I've been working on. This is the reason why I have not posted any new chapters of fan fiction. And this costume isn't even for me. it's for my boyfriend. I'm Hiccup. I patterned this thing myself and thoroughly impressed my dad while doing it. It seems that making patterns is a foreign concept to him... I'm still working on the wings and tail. but I will get it done before the week ends!!!!!
Toothless belongs to Dreamworks and Cressida Cowell
Ah....hm....well....I would need to buy more of a certain stiff material called buckram....for the wings and tail fins and back scales and ears....how much of that did i use....yard and 1/2? hm...labor, carry the one....$125? it's pretty labor intensive, plus the buckram is expensive and a blank hoodie from my local crafts store is about $10. and this is actually a reduced price. others i might charge $150. but this time, i know what i'm doing, have all the pattern pieces. and lots of extra fabric. i could probably make two more Toothlesses and a cape. oh, wait...i need more red fabric...ah, i could get a remnant. So, yeah, how does that price sound to you? I know it's pricey for a college student, but i can't really squeeze it down any more.
That is totally reasonable. I want one so baaaadd! But I am quite without funds at the moment... BUT... ONE DAY! Maybe. Because I'd love to have one and I'd also like to support your cosplay commission thingy
Oh, thank you for wanting to support me. >w< (I forgot to mention it would be American dollars, as cool as Canadian money is, I can't use it in the States..... stupid America.) It's fine if you don't have the money now. I understand. I'm quite without funds too, and I have a con in a week that I need $130 for for room and gas and only have $37. Let's see how this works out, shall we?
I would like to someday...
And I hope you get the money. I'm sure you will
